Music is a field of culture of which Poland may be particularly proud and in which our country aspires to be considered as one of the world's leading countries. There are many important and fascinating music events in Poland, among those worth mentioning are:
'The International Chopin Piano Competition';' The Krzysztof Penderecki International Competition of Contemporary Chamber Music'; 'The Mozart Festival'; 'The Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival'; 'The Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music' ' Wratislavia Cantans'; ' The Jazz Jamboree'; ' The Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition' as well as a rich variety of music on offer at various theatres, such as operas, chamber operas, operettas, musicals, philharmonic concerts as well as ballet and modern dance performances with Polish and international repertoire. Our programmes for music groups also include private recitals and piano and organ concerts of contemporary, classical or early music. These are held in palaces, churches and other historic interiors.
